I started this project the way most passion projects begin — with a frustration. I was building a Rebels-era RPG campaign and needed names for a dozen NPCs across four species. Every generator I found spat out random syllables that sounded vaguely alien but carried zero cultural weight. A Twi'lek name should feel different from a Mandalorian name, not just phonetically but structurally. So I started cataloguing patterns from the films, then the animated series, then the novels. What began as a spreadsheet for my own game became an algorithm, then a website, then this. The goal has never changed: names that sound like they belong in the galaxy, because they're built from the same linguistic DNA that Lucasfilm uses.
